Br Desmond, along with his Callan Services colleagues, is involved with a partnership between the Kokoda Initiative and Callan Services for Disabled Persons National Unit in the Maternal and Child Health Program.

Christian Brothers Oceania Province has been supporting the local anti human trafficking organisation, ACRATH, for many years.  ACRATH’s campaigns to eliminate human trafficking in all its forms, whether it be slavery-like practices in agricultural employment in Australia or in the supply chains that bring us our coffee, cotton, and chocolate, are worthy of our support.

Erika Fairweather, Dunedin-born New Zealand olympic swimmer, has been named Sky Sports Emerging talent at the Halberg awards. Erika attended Kavanagh College and in 2021 was head girl. Despite her young age, Erika has an impressive list of accomplishments.
